Just getting congressional representation would be a dream in itself. The actual officeholders would be secondary.

That said:

Senator: Elissa Silverman (I)
Senator: Kenyan McDuffie (D)

I always thought that DC should one Senator and one U.S. House Representative who can vote like any other member of Congress.

Then again, DC has a larger population than Wyoming and Vermont, but they get Representation...

Why just one senator? Like you said, more people live in the nation's capital than in some states.
