Georgia voters will probably care more about the jumping gas prices than some family drama tbh. Don’t get your hopes up yet even though I think it is likelier Warnock wins now.

I don't believe prices are rising much in GA AFAIK.

Reporter: You said that if this did happen, there's nothing to be ashamed of.

Walker: Wait, I never said it.

Reporter: You said it this morning on Hugh Hewitt's show.

Republicans should cut Walker loose at this point, but they will not. Many of them are doubling down on their support for him, as they see Walker as a reliable vote for their policy priorities. This is precisely the reason why Trump overwhelmingly won the white evangelical vote, and the votes of most Republicans who did not like him personally.

They believed that policy was more important than morality. And this is why Walker will still garner ~45% or more of the vote in Georgia, and why the race could still be headed to a runoff. Why would a Republican voter abandon Walker for this scandal when they see Warnock and Democrats as promoting abortion on demand with taxpayer dollars?

Walker needs more than just the GOP to get to 45%, though. Independents will now be the key to this.

Are you saying that Walker could fall into the lower 40s? That would imply Warnock is winning by double digits, which I don't believe is possible. We're not going to see a Todd Akin electoral outcome here.

I'm not saying it will happen, but something like 52-44-3 isn't out of the question.

Who's planning to release? Or just bc the scandal gives them a reason to...

The latter - I'm gonna assume most outlets will want to get clicks from what the polls are saying about the scandal

The media still needs a horse race here, so it's interesting to me that numerous stories have now come out and basically had the whole "this is bad for Walker but, but, but, he's now going after Warnock for being too woke so it all evens out"

The article has solid receipts and on the record quotes; what are your specific problems with the article?

Any source that is not from one of the mainstream media outlets is regarded with great skepticism on this forum.

... as it should be. Free Beacon is a right wing hack website.

It's almost like people value credibility.

Sure, but there seems to be a double standard on this forum with regards to stories that might be damaging to one party or the other.

There really isn't. If a reputable source about this came out with, I would take it seriously.

But also - it's clearly Rs on this forum trying to find negative stories on Warnock to whataboutism the Walker scandal. The intent is clear.

It's quite interesting I see no political pundits or people on TV discussing Walker's cognitive abilities and if he's fit to serve?

Walker’s scandals have been all over national news.

That's not what I asked.

Uh yeah, Warnock talked like a normal person, made sense, spoke in complete sentences, and seemed like a very competent senator.

Walker was literally quite incoherent in every single exchange - from healthcare to insulin to college to clearly the police badge thing. He did pretty much as bad as I was expecting - he was a body there on stage that spoke but did not make sense 75% of the time.

There's no "expectations settings" games here. Warnock was good as was expected, and Walker was incoherent as expected. The badge thing just topped the entire thing off and made him look like a joke.

People may have wanted Warnock to go for a bigger "knockout blow" here but it's clear he was just trying to not do anything crazy to stir things up. He accomplished what he needed to. And Walker showing his fake police badge summed everything up you need to know about Walker.

Anyone who is trying to actually say "oh yes, he beat expectations. Soft Republicans definitely saw this and thought hey, he's not as bad as I thought" after him saying stuff like this is just lying to themselves and being delusional.

I am not quite surprised though. It seems every debate this cycle, we've had some type of "Dem is expected to be a 8-10 and they are, but GOP is expected to be a 2 and they're a 4, so they win!"

Does someone have a clip or a transcript of one of Walker's best moments? Apparently all the clips or transcripts we have seen are unrepresentative or out of context (because they were cherry picked by the liberal media), and all his other answers were the ones that were coherent.

or maybe - just maybe - most of his moments *were* incoherent.

You almost have to wonder what were these bottom barrel expectations for Walker? I mean if you're threshold was him speaking words instead of sh*tting himself on stage, then yeah I guess he "beat expectations". Which is speaks more volumes about his candidacy than anything else.
