I will use this topic as my HQ for my campaign. I think long time about this decision to be candidate for Midwest Senate . In a democracy, you can win or lose, but when you do nothing, then you have already lost. I wish my opponents luck, but not too much . I hope the voters in the Midwest give me the chance to show them, that I can be a good representative of their interests.

I am member of the JCP and of the German minority in Midwest. I am for a liberal social policy and for the strengthening of Worker' Rights, but all must be practicable. I am against Libertarian Radicalism and against all utopias of a workers paradise like in the Communist ideology.

We can choose the right people, send them back home. Too many immigrants . That would be ammunition to populists.

To Midwest Governor Vepres:

Should I win, then you can be sure that I work for the interests of Midwest. This means that I work together with the Midwest Governor for our Region. Political differences are no impediment for me.

About the spelling of my name:

I isn't very important. Whether Ü or U does not make much different, because I believe in this forum, there is only one Hans-im-Glück. In German, it is also possible instead of a Ü to write UE. This is the same.

Here are my political believes and my program as Senator. The most I wrote in the debate with Sewer Socialist and Mechaman but I think it's good to write it again:

Economics and Labor:

I want that the workers' rights to be strengthened. For every worker it must be possible to live from their own. I'm going to fight for the rights of the workers will not be reduced and when there is a majority, I want the rights to be expanded.

Welfare State:

I'm against any cuts, and would ensure that families are more encouraged. I would suggest that there are free nursery places for all children. I support the Public Housing Bill .

Social policy:

I am for a liberal social policy, but it must also be practicable. I will oppose any radical Libertarians who want to repeal all the rules. An “Open Door Immigration” and the legalization of drugs, I will not support. However, I am for the state controlled release of drugs to the addicts (Swiss model). That would help them to come out of the criminal milieu and live a normal life.

Environmental and Consumer Protection:

I would support all initiatives which are for more environmental protection. In particular, the promotion of alternative energy is very important for me. I am against GM foods and they would fight against it. First, all these foods should be labeled to identify and then every consumer know what he eats.

Foreign Affairs:

We only live in one world and whether we like it or not, we must live together with countries even if we find them badly. But that does not mean that we do not openly address what bothers us there. Although I am for free trade, but of course there are limits. No free trade if it is that safety Atlasia may be in danger. I am also opposed to the products manufactured with child labor and things witch made by "environmental rape" being imported.


Education:

I support the strengthening of the public school system. We need to invest in the training of teachers and equip schools financially better. I am opposed to promotion of private schools with public money. That would lead only to new elite and all in the public schools would be no chances anymore.

Internal affairs
I support the The Strategic Registration Amendment .

The October elections are beginning soon.

You have the choice:

Between me the voice of reason and the libertarian chaos.

Between a predictable man and candidates those switching every 5 minutes the party.

Between one who stands in the public or one who is invisible.

I do not promise you the moon, but I will always fight for the ordinary man. I do not want that Atlasia become to a conservative prison, or an anarchistic hell.


I want a liveable Atlasia, to which we can all be proud.

For a better tomorrow elect the candidate of the people.

Atalsians, Midwesterners!

The economy is in a very deep crisis. We need a change, but the Conservatives want to continue the turbo-capitalism, as if nothing had happened.

For this I say NO.

Just this anarcho-capitalism has plunged us into this valley. This unscrupulous greed must be stopped. Banks must be more closely monitored so that they can not gamble with our future.

Managers, which have their businesses ruined by misbehavior, do not deserve compensation, but like all criminals, belong in jail.

All which have learned from the crisis the right, see that we need a change and have to stop this insanity.

I would have never expected this victory. This is a big surprise for me.

I would like to thank all voters and I will do my best not to disappoint that trust.
I would also like to thank the Jesus Christ Party. Without their support I would not have done it.
But I also say thanks to all who supported me. To mention just a few: President Lief, Chairman bgwah, Senator Fritz and the Soviet Party of Atlasia .

To my opponents Mechaman and Sewer Socialist, I would say that you have made a good campaign and they are to remain faithful to their ideals. Sometimes it was a hard fight, but I have great respect for them because they have not hidden, not like an other man.

An election win is one thing; to be a good senator is more difficult. I will try in all my actions in the Senate to remain faithful to my ideals.

I will as a senator fight for the common man and show it to the Senator that I not only my voters. No I want to be the Senator of all people in the Midwest.

I look forward to working with other senators and now we can start to celebrate this victory. In the HQ of the campaign begins a big victory party.
