There is no justification for voting for Adams

Adams, unlike Yang, Garcia and a couple others, does not have the indefensible position that students should be required to be COVID vaccinated to return to school but teachers shouldn't, so that is a big plus in his favor in my book.

Was pretty clear to me he was speaking of it as addition to regular classes.  I don't think it's a great idea but it's not what it's been presented as in soundbites.

 Requiring children to take a vaccine that's still basically in experimental stage for that population while you don't for the adult population where the safety has been well demonstrated is just beyond the pale to me.  I was thinking Garcia or Yang would be best, but learning this switched me over to Adams.

I'm actually feeling better about this race the more I think about it.
1. In 4/5 boroughs, Garcia+Wiley>Adams
2. 20% of the vote is mail-in, and Adams will be weak there
3. More of the Bronx is in than Manhattan
4. Assuming 10% exhaustion, not-Adams still has twice as many votes as Adams. Am I really to believe that 1/3 of Wiley/Yang/Garcia-ers will rank Adams over Wiley or Garcia.

I want to believe but it sounds like copium to me

Exactly these incompetently run elections undermine trust and confidence and make it seem like Trump's BS of election fraud may be sort of true. New York state and the city are a disgrace when it comes to managing elections properly. Not want to sound lecturing here, but sometimes I think you guys just should get out and let us Europeans run your elections. We don't have the issues.

In 2018, Florida completed an initial count, an automatic recount and a statewide hand recount, in a general election with ten times as many ballots, in less time than it will take NYC to complete their initial count. Have you considered getting your own house in order?

Only someone who didn’t read any of this topic or my posts here would deduce that I don’t entirely despise the NYCBOE. They are a hive of incompetence, patronage, and mass stupidity. The NY elections system is a corrupt disaster.

Anyway, terrible news, but at least Brad won
