When will you see Star Trek?

Friday.  The Mrs. is taking the day off work to fool around with me and see a movie.

I'll see the film when I can. I've always preferred Star Trek over Star Wars (which I find very dull) though I was never a geek about it.

I want to see how Simon Pegg's (who plays Scotty) accent turns out. His Glaswegian wife has given him lessons. I'll be watching with the score cards

The Mrs. took the day off to run some errands with me and we saw this after lunch.  A really good shoot-em-up, action flick.  Of course, I don't get what all the Trekkies were arguing about (they all seemed to love it, but were talking about this plot line and that) but it was just good, clean, fun entertainment.

The doctor guy seemed to have "Bones" down pat.

No, I am just trying to re-assure people that, while I like ST, I do not speak Klingon, wear Spock ears or have Captain Kirk jammies...  ;-)

Creepy is creepy -- whether it's Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings.
