Jim McTague of Barrons said on Fox News today that the economy as an issue could catapult Ron Paul to the nomination.

Ron Paul, catapulting...reminds me of lobbing livestock over the walls in Monty Python.

"Come back again, and I shall taunt you a second time-uh."

Paul supporters are EXTREMELY dedicated, almost to the point of being fanatical. Of course they'll think he can win, even in the face of obvious evidence that he won't.

Then perhaps a more apt Monty Python illustration would involve the black knight, whose arms and legs and both been severed from his body.  But the fight is not over.  He says, "Come back and fight!  'Tis but a flesh wound!"
