If McCain Wins The Nod Any Chance He Picks Romney For VP?

Only if his campaign is badly strapped for cash and Romney buys his way onto the ticket.  What does McCain gain?  If he wants a handsome, youngish-looking guy to balance his age, Mike Pence of Indiana would be a better choice.  If he wants a Governor to balance his Washington image, Tom Ridge...Mark Sanford...Tim Pawlenty or Haley Barbour would do the trick.  If he wants a far right conservative to balance his mainstream conservatism, Barbour or Pence or Sonny Perdue or even the Huckster would make sense.  If he wants to swing a state with his VP, why Romney? Utah is already in the bag and Massachusetts is impossible.  A better choice would be Voinovich (and then, why lose that seat?), Tom Ridge or maybe Tommy Thompson.

I just don't seen what Romney brings to the ticket, except cash.  And better hair.
