I always liked the man.  I'm curious as to why the tribute thread now?

Anyway, my disagreements with him were many.  I particularly abhored supply side thought and his abandonment of some long-held convictions upon joining the national ticket in 1996.

But I'm not going to squawk too much about that.  I remember a certain ant-abortion Senator from Tennessee suddenly discovering a change of heart on the issue just about the time his 1988 Democratic Primary bid got going...

Anyway, Kemp was a fine fellow.
