I mean Biden specifically went out of his way to give a speech where he explicitly stated the difference between "normal" Republicans and MAGA Republicans, so no.

Well look at Chuck Schumer. The guy literally refers to any republican as MAGA. He calls the supreme count, the "Maga Supreme Court" even when a ruling is 9-0.
I do agree with the OP, that the Dems really do love using the term now, and take any chance they can to use it.

Democrats aren’t causing this, you dramatically overestimate how much voters listen to political parties. Voters are recognizing that the GOP has completely and fully embraced Trumpism, and are willing to snuff out American democracy to get their way. They have also noticed that, beyond a couple of marginalized ideologues, Democrats are not socialists.
