If somebody calls themselves a Democrat and can support their argument with good reasons, then they are welcome in the Democratic family.
My grandfather was a Democrat his entire life whose own father helped found the railroad union in Omaha, Nebraska. He had a lot of views that differed from the Democratic party today, but at the core, he was still a Democrat.
I get sick of people trying to purge the party of people that they don't like. (This is now especially occurring in the Republican party, with talk of "primarying people" and stuff).
