This is like when you blow a bubble with bubble gum and it gets so big that you can't avoid it bursting on your glasses.
And then you have to deflate it with your hands, but your hands are too small.

Don't forget that Trump hasn't shown his face publicly for a week. That's certainly another reason his numbers recovered somewhat.
Yeah and when he's "at work" golfing, he has trucks to block the view so we can't see him.

It's pretty remarkable that Reaganfan would so gladly see his own mother raped as long as it might upset liberals. The moral bankrupcy of Republicans really has no end.

You really like generalizing people don't you? While I think he mean't differently from what he stated, it was a little screwed up with the teacher story. But please don't lump all republicans into the same boat...

I should have added that Republicans are such sensitive snowflakes. A breath of criticism or a crude joke and you lose your minds.

When I disparage Republicans I don't mean everyone who has ever considered themselves Republican. But today the GOP is the party of Trump and there is no way of justifying being one. That is why virtually every Atlas Republican has essentially abandoned them and the only ones left are pro-rape people like Naso, conspiracy nuts like FuzzyBear and people who can't read like Greedo.

Anyone who looks at the present day GOP and tells themselves it's their party is either fine with them and thus morally reprehensible or doesn't understand what is happening and is thus unworthy of intellectual respect. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings but it's not my fault you people are the way you are.

Why do you feel sorry for me? It seems America is beyond screwed up  since people with different political ideologies should now be hated according to your logic. Doesnt that seem just a bit abnormal to you? I mean in my country, we can have an honest debate and poke fun at the parties we support, but we never seem to make it personal towards one another. Well, I guess that's the way it is I guess...
Your country has 1/10th the population with a different system and a completely different history.  Canada also has very moralistic politics while the U.S. generally does not.  The places that do, like Utah or Minnesota, are more like Canada in that staying above the fray is held in high regard.

But when a party wins here, there are so many checks and balances to slow down what they can do.  We aren't a parliamentary system.  The American system is not set up for the age of ideological purity.  We either have to change the system or get away from ideology as a driver of American politics.  Or we'll just get sicker and more inept until something finally breaks.

That MN poll was awful.  Definitely not an accurate poll.  I think their methodology was off somehow.  They showed 70% approval for Trump in northern MN.  That should’ve been enough to make the Strib toss the poll in the garbage.
