Keep in mind Minnesota already has like... the most lax marijuana laws of any state where it isn't legal in some form.

Being caught with up to 1.25 oz. is a petty misdemeanor and you get a ticket... if, as Lief said, the cop doesn't just look the other way.

If we were tossing people in prison for years and years over possession of small amounts of marijuana, you'd probably see a bigger move to legalize it.

They just need to re-brand marijuana and call it lute-weed or smokeable hot dish.

Well, we've managed to find a way to put hotdish on a stick... I'm sure we could make it smokeable.  Imagine a Turkey Wiener Doo-Dah Hotdish High!
