Possession of small amounts of any of them (including larger amounts of tobacco, booze, and marijuana) should be legal.

The production and distribution of these drugs should be regulated and taxed heavily to pay for treatment of addicts.

I also have no problem with adding use of any of them (with the exception of tobacco and mixed cases for booze and marijuana) to a list of aggravating factors in criminal cases.

If you are using these drugs in a way that is not harmful to others around you, then you should be left alone.  But addicts should have resources for help and people who do drugs and commit crimes should have less leeway in the court of law.

The best thing you could do for people on drugs though is to lift them out of poverty.

Drug use is a medical problem.. not a criminal problem.  And increasing drug use is a symptom of our ailing economic situation.  People satisfied with their economic situation won't be as quick to start popping barbiturates as someone who is tearing his hair out because the bill collectors want moer money than he actually makes.
