Colorado. Though they definitely have a chip on their shoulders regarding outsiders.
It always kinda boggled my mind as a kid when Coloradans could vacation at our resort... like... why would you come to northern Minnesota? But that's part of the intense cultural cringe we have. And Colorado has lots of mountains... but is short on water/lakes. A Campfire as the sun sets with loons calling in the background and the occasional hum of a motor boat slowly moving by on the glass calm lake is kinda romantic. (you wait for the wake waves to lap the shore in their hypnotic pattern)
