WASHINGTON POST ARTICLE: WHAT IS THE PROGRESSIVE FUTURE PAC?
Credit to The Wrap for the Photo

Excerpt from the Article:
The question is, what is the Progressive Future PAC? Kirsten Gillibrand, in a tweet said that the Progressive Future PAC is "Mike Pence trying to undermine the Democracy that we hold dear." On the other hand, Mike Pence has denied all claims cited by Kirsten Gillibrand as "The Queen of Abortions trying to put the blame of her record on a fighter for the American People." So, we here at the Washington Post decided to get to the bottom of the bickering. Here's what we found:
- Mike Pence's Presidential Campaign shares FEC Filings with the Progressive Future PAC
- There is over 5 connections in banks, treasurers, and managers from both the Mike Pence Campaign Filing and the Progressive Future PAC Filings.
What does this mean? It means Kirsten Gillibrand was right. Mike Pence is directly associated with the Progressive Future PAC, which he denied on multiple occasions. How will this affect the race for the Democratic Nomination, and Mike Pence's polling numbers. We'll find out.

Gillibrand Debate Answers
Credit to Time for the Photo

Opening Statement:
Quote
Thank you Anderson, and the great city of Phoenix for hosting us here tonight. Tonight, you're going to hear a lot from every candidate on this stage. But, let me tell you the different between what I say, and what some others may say. I grew up a small town girl, with a small town mindset. Yet, when you leave your comfort zone you see just how different the world is. That's what I went through, I believe it was a metamorphosis. Just like our beautiful country, I've changed. I'm not standing on this stage tonight because what I've gone through was easy, just like how are nation is able to stand strong. I'm running for President, because I want to see our nation go through another metamorphosis. A metamorphosis of social, economic, and racial justice, and that is what I will do when I take on Mike Pence in November.

Question #1
Quote
Thank you Anderson. My strategy is to continue building the biggest coalition in American History, and lead that coalition to victory in November, and send Mike Pence packing. Our campaign has been able to bring people together, more than we've ever seen before. From coast to coast, we are bringing hope to the hopeless, and working to change people's lives. I met a little girl in Toano, Virginia named Alicia. Alicia asked me a question that completely changed me, and left me heartbroken. She asked me if her mom was going to be deported. Now imagine, a 12 year old girl asking you, if her mom is about to be deported. This is our reality now, this is what our children have to go through. Constant fear about their family, because of the person we have living in the White House. It's unacceptable. That is why I believe our campaign will continue to grow, and we will win the nomination. The people I've met in this campaign are the reason I am still in this race, because this campaign is people powered. I believe we are going to win this primary, and we are going to win this general election for that reason.
Question #2
[/pre]
Quote
Our campaign isn't just one for the left wing or the right wing. It's for every American. I'm proud and honored to receive so many endorsements from people across the political spectrum. From a Progressive Warrior, Tammy Baldwin or Cory Booker, to the Pragmatist Icons like Amy Klobuchar or Darren Soto. Let's look for example at issue very important to so many, social security. Social Security is supported by moderates, and progressives, but not by those on the far right. Mike Pence wants to privatize Social Security, and kick millions off of their healthcare. I want to say right here, right now on this stage, as President of the United States, I will unite this country and defeat Mike Pence. We are going to usher in a new era of change. With a Pro-Immigration, Pro-Minimum Wage, Pro-Healthcare, Pro-American Agenda.

Closing Statement
[/pre]
Quote
Thank you Anderson, and Phoenix for allowing us to tell the American People our ideas and plans for the future of this country. I want to clear something up before we end this debate. No, I'm not the devil, and no I don't hate babies, as Mr. Pence would proclaim. I'm just a regular woman, who is ready to serve her nation and move our country forward. My story is just like your's. I know that a lot of things we're fighting for will be claimed as, "radical" or "far left", but they aren't. The right to a Pathway to Citizenship, the right to a pension, the right to have control over your own body, these aren't radical things. They're common sense ideas, which I will implement as President of the United States. I want to leave you here with one thing tonight, if we truly want our nation to be the nation of our dreams, we have to act now. We must send a woman to the White House, and show that Brave Wins. I hope I can earn your vote, and together we can change this nation for the better. Thank you.

Gillibrand Ad, "A Promise" aired in Arizona, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois
Credit to Vox for the Photo

She's spent her whole life fighting for us.
From Social Security, to Immigration, to Promoting Social and Economic Justice, Kirsten has been there for the fight.
She stood up for DACA and fought for our Dreamers.
She fought back against Mitch McConnell and protected Social Security.
America is a Promise, a promise to all of us. The right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As President, Kirsten will follow through on that promise.
Kirsten Gillibrand: Fighting for our Promise, Fighting for Us.

I'm not afraid to back down on immigration, economic and social justice, social security, and American's well being.
For 20 years I've been fighting for the rights of our American families.
I'm running for President because we need to do something brave. With someone as dangerous as Mike Pence in the White House, it's going to take extreme bravery and lots of action to get our country back on track.
[/pre]
I'm ready to take on that challenge, starting on Day One.
I'm Kirsten Gillibrand, and I'm ready to show that Brave Wins.

Gillibrand Strategy
Credit to The Hill for the Photo

African American Strategy
Senator Gillibrand expects Ms. Abrams to run up the African America vote, but is deploying key African American figures to help stop that traction in its steps. Senator Booker in Ohio, Representative Clyburn in Florida, and the NAACP in Northern Florida and Ohio. Senator Booker was mostly holding events with Senator Gillibrand and canvassing across Columbus and Cleveland. Representative Clyburn was campaigning in Tallahassee and Jacksonville with the NAACP at certain key events.
Latino Strategy
Senator Gillibrand is counting on a win within key latino areas in Florida and Arizona on election night. She deployed large amounts of staff and key surrogates such as, Julian & Joaquin Castro, Sen. Cortez-Masto, and the College Democrats of America in Florida and Arizona.
Student Strategy
Senator Gillibrand is counting on a huge win with College Students on election day. She deployed the College Democrats of America, Sen. Kamala Harris, Rep. Illhan Omar, and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell across Ohio, Florida, and Arizona. Even if some demographics falter on election night, Senator Gillibrand is counting on huge turnout to put her over the top in these states.
Elderly Strategy
Senator Gillibrand deployed Fmr. VP Joe Biden, Rep. Debbie Washerman-Shultz, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, and Rep. Darren Soto to Arizona, Florida, and Ohio. Senator Gillibrand expects to do very well with the elderly community, especially with the Senator's campaign focusing on Social Security in the days leading up to Election Night.

Kirsten Gillibrand Accepts Democratic Nomination for President
Credit to Crain's NY Business for the Photo

Thank you, thank you for that amazing welcome. And to Stacey, thank you. I am so proud to be your friend, and I’m so proud of what you’ve been able to achieve. Thank you for bringing new ideas, and perspectives to the minds of so many people across our nation.

We had the opportunity to hear from President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Senator Amy Klobuchar, and so many other great Americans in the last couple days here in Milwaukee.

Gathered here in Milwaukee, we have been able to see just exactly what our Founding Fathers wanted. People gathering together in the pursuit of freedom and working together to better our nation, and to create a better place for all of God’s children to live.

I want to say thanks to all of those who attempted the Democratic Nomination. You inspired millions, and strengthened our democracy with your sacrifice. From Senator Jeff Merkley, to Senator Tammy Baldwin, the Democratic Party was able to put forward candidates that are looking forward to what our nation can do, not looking backwards. Together, we are going to take our movement to the White House in November.

This time in history, America is once again at a moment of reckoning. Powerful forces are threatening to pull us apart. Bonds of trust and respect are fraying. And just as with our founders, there are no guarantees. It is truly up to us. We have to decide whether we all will work together, so that we can all rise together. Our country’s motto is e pluribus unum: out of many, we are one. Are we going to stay true to that motto?

We’ve heard Mike Pence’s answer to that at the RNC last week. He wants to divide us -- from the rest of the world, and from each other. He’s betting that the perils of today’s world will blind us to its unlimited promise. He has taken the Republican Party a very long way, from “Morning in America” to “Midnight in America.” He wants us to fear each other, and to fear the future.

As President Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said, “the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” Now we are cleareyed about what our country is up against. Yet, we are not afraid. We will rise to the challenge, just as we always have.

We are not going to build walls, we are going to build an economy that works for every man, woman, and child in this nation. We will not shut people out, we will create a pathway to citizenship and bring our families together. We will not ban a religion, we will work American allies to defeat terrorism.

here is so much work to do. Too many people still haven’t received a pay raise, inequality is rampant, there is little social mobility, too much paralysis in Washington, too many threats here at home as well as abroad.

These challenges do not intimidate us, we have the most dedicated team in American History ready to take a stand for our American Values. We have three values that we shall never waiver on, freedom, opportunity, and justice. We should be so proud that these words are associated with our party. That way the American People know that the Democratic Party is a grassroots movement dedicated to the people of our nation.

Many years ago, I embarked on a journey, by joining the field of politics to fight for an America in which everyone can succeed. I took this leap, because I could see what was happening in the communities surrounding me. Too much inequality, too little action. So, I went to Washington and fought for the American People to get results that we could all be so proud of.

Now, I stand here on this stage today. Asking for your help, your energy, your talent, your ambition, to defeat the most dangerous President in American history. I believe that we can do just that, with all of my heart.

That is exactly why “Brave Wins” is not just a slogan, or a lesson from our past, it is a guiding principle for the country we’ve always strived for.

A country where the economy works for everyone, not just those at the top. Where you can get a good job, no matter what ZIP code you live in. A country where all of our children can dream, and those dreams are within reach. Where our families are strong, and our communities are safe.

That is the country that we are fighting for, that is the future that we are working towards. And so it is with honor, determination, and extreme love of the nation that we are going to build together, that I accept your nomination for President of the United States!

Kirsten Gillibrand Announces VP Pick in Press Release
Credit to CBS New York for the Photo

The Gillibrand Campaign is honored and ecstatic to have received the Democratic Nomination, and is optimistic for the future, and for the remainder of the DNC. After over two weeks of deliberation and discussion, interviews and lists, the Gillibrand Campaign has made our pick for Vice President of the United States. We believe that the best type of person to lead with Kirsten is someone with values, new fresh ideas, and determination to lead this nation together.

We are proud to announce the pick of Governor Andy Beshear to be the next Vice President of the United States. We believe that Kirsten and Andy have the experience, determination, and hundreds of new ideas for the future. Together, we are going to defeat Mike Pence and show that Brave Wins.

We ask all Americans to look into their hearts and realize what is happening in the world around them. Mike Pence and the GOP is focusing on tearing families apart, cutting benefits, and destroying what so many spent decades fighting for. We are in this fight together, because there is no alternative. This is the most crucial election in American History, and failure to win will result in the complete destruction of programs such as Medicare, Social Security, and CHIP.

Please join our campaign today to ensure that we take America back and put the values, and interests of the American People First.

Gillibrand Launches Multiple Campaign Programs and Iniatives
Credit to Flickr for the Photo

"Take Back the Senate" Campaign
Apart from winning the Presidential Race, the Gillibrand Campaign has invested millions of its fundraising into holding Key Senate Races, and flipping multiple GOP held seats. The Gillibrand Campaign sent out multiple emails urging people to donate to the campaign, and the donation would be split with the DSCC as well as other individual Senate campaigns. Before clinching the nomination, but after the campaign suspension of Stacey Abrams, Gillibrand met with the DSCC and DCCC Leadership Teams. Gillibrand has placed trust in multiple campaigns across the country, and has made multiple trips to deep red states like Alaska and Alabama, showing her commitment to seeing all parts of the country. Gillibrand put kep figures on the Senaate Takeback Campaign, some notable figures being: Senator Tammy Duckworth, Senator Tim Kaine, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, and Senator Patty Murray.
Made by myself

"Keep the House" Campaign
With a resounding win for Democrats in the House in 2018, the Gillibrand Campaign and DCCC are committing mass amounts of money and time to keep the House in Democratic hands. Gillibrand endorsed Democratic candidates in multiple swing districts across the country within days of receiving the nomination, and continued to endorse more as the campaign pressed on. The Gillibrand Campaign appointed Representatives Ted Lieu and Mikie Sherrill to head the "Keep the House" Campaign.
Credit to Myself

"Blue Dogs for Kirsten" Campaign
The Gillibrand Campaign hired multiple polling companies over a three month period to see the levels of support among Blue Dog and Conservative Democrats. Seeing large amounts of support, the Gillibrand Campaign sought to garner even more votes from these types of voters. Kirsten Gillibrand made Andy Beshear the VP Pick for a reason, to bring in Blue Dogs, Independents, and Republicans. The campaign appointed Governor Andy Beshear, Representative Stephanie Murphy, and Governor John Bel Edwards to head the Campaign. They invested $10 million in a two month period into organizations and media markets in suburban areas and rural areas.

"Middle Americans for Kirsten" Campaign
The Gillibrand Campaign, in cooperation with multiple polling organizations, conducted multiple polls that showed opportunities to receive upwards of 20% of the vote from Moderate Republicans. The Campaign invested over $20 million in a three month period into launching TV, and Social Media ads, polling, literature, and many other things to ensure the support of Moderate Republicans. The campaigned labeled these rhinos as "Middle Americans" because of the commitment to be an inclusive campaign, and to not alienate any voter from California to Maine. The Gillibrand Campaign appointed Governor Ron DeSantis, Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, and Governor Andy Beshear to head the Campaign.

Gillibrand Debate Answers
Credit to Flickr for the Photo

Opening Statement
Quote
I want to thank you Anderson and Laura for allowing myself and President Pence to debate here in the great state of Indiana. Indiana has been home to movements for social and economic history, and so much more. Tonight you, the American People are going to finally have the opportunity to hear from myself and President Pence on the issues. I've released a large amount of plans, from stopping wildfires to providing access to Healthcare for all Americans. In fact, during the Democratic Primaries, one of my slogans was "I've Got a Plan for That." If you're tired of constant uneasiness about America's presence on the international stage, and you want an America in which everyone can thrive instead of just those at the top, join us. If you want an America where your family can feel safe in your home and not have to worry about losing your job, join us. If you believe that everyone has a right to immigrate to this country legally, join us. If you believe that together as a country, we are stronger together than we are divided, join us. I am running for President not because it's easy, but because now more than ever we need a leader that isn't afraid to take an ultimatum to Washington to get things done.

Question One
Quote
Thank you for the question. If we look at our country now, people are losing their jobs, businesses are closing, people are being arrested just based on their race, and we are in constant disarray. This has got to end. We must restore order and unite our country. When I first got elected to Congress, I won in a district where farm animals outnumbered the amount of Democrats. Yet, I won, and I got things done. I worked across party lines to ensure that the vision of America where everyone has the chance to succeed was a priority. Americans want someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty to fight for them. I went to Washington to get things done, yet, with this Republican Senate stalling votes on key bills that would actually protect Americans. Progressives have a record of fighting for Americans, from coast to coast. I like to listen to the wise words of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little." From Mississippi to Montana, I am ready to work directly with Democrats and Republicans to elect bipartisan leaders that will fight for the values of their states, not for partisan interests.

Question Two
Quote
Thank you for the question. The President has attacked me and my campaign because he believes that we take "dirty money" or that we encourage corporations to donate their money to our campaign. Well, I'm here to tell everyone he is wrong. When the President attacks me on falsehoods, I guess he is forgetting he attempted to undermine our American Democracy during the Democratic Presidential Primary. His campaign was directly associated with a PAC attacking myself in the Democratic Primaries. He attacked our campaign for being the most diverse, progressive, and inclusive campaign in America's history. This is what we're running against. The most dangerous President in the United States is standing here on this stage right now lying to you, the American people. Lying about his donations, lying about his policies, lying about our country. How do you think this makes America look on the international scale? We have to start bringing respect back to our country again, it has been gone for years now and we must bring it back. We have to focus on the issues, which this President has refused to do. As President, I'm going to ensure that every American Citizen has a right to be successful in this country. I don't believe Mr. Pence can commit to that same promise. So, I ask you all today, who do you trust? If you want to build a better future for our children and grandchildren, I ask that you join our campaign and show that Brave will Win.

Question Three
Quote
Thank you for the question. Although myself and the President disagree quite a lot on policy, I do respect how much of a family man he is. Every time I've been to the White House, when President Trump was still in Office, Mr. Pence was with his wife and family. I respect that he puts his family first above politics, and I know if something were to come up in his family's life he would take a leave of absence in a pen drop to protect his family. We may be running against each other, but myself and the President have shared multiple moments together in which we bonded over our love of sports and parks.

Closing Statement
Quote
I'd like to thank Laura and Anderson for moderating tonight, as well as President Pence for joining me here to speak about our plans and policies to lead our country. Tonight, you heard two different visions. One of these visions entailed dividing people, building a wall on the border to keep out families, and keeping the same old Tax System that disproportionately attacks lower and middle class Americans. The other vision you heard entailed, the opportunity to go to College, where the Tax System ensures that the top earners pay their fair shares, and where every person has the right to succeed. Together, we can build the nation of our dreams. “Courage means to keep making forward progress while you still feel afraid.” Joyce Meyer. This quote has always stuck with me, because it has instilled in me that we can't stop. We can't stop while people are dying in our streets because they don't have Healthcare, or when families lose their home because they're working three jobs and still couldn't pay rent. We must never stop striving for better. So, let's push for the America that we've always wanted. I ask that you join our campaign, in the pursuit of love for the country we're going to build. Thank you.

Gillibrand Rebuttal
Credit to Flickr for the Photo

Rebuttal
Quote
I'd like to say, that the President tonight has been contradicting himself left and right with his actions in the past few weeks. If you even look at his Twitter page for a second, you'll see the unwarranted and completely false attacks that have been launched on me. Just a few days ago, he said that I did extremely immoral things and illegal things to receive the support of Tom Steyer. I believe that I speak on behalf of all women when I say, how dare you. How dare you attempt to say that I have engaged in immoral, hinting at sexual, actions with Mr. Steyer. Shame on you Mr. President, shame on you. I am a proud woman, and I hope to finally break that ceiling that so many people have sought to break, from Shirley Chisholm to Stacey Abrams. The women of America are sick and tired of being sold out by Washington elites who promise to be on their side, then vote to roll back protections for a Woman's Right to Choose. As President of the United States, I will promise right now, a Woman's Right to Choose will always be a Human Right in the United States. Along with that, throughout our country, we see women being disproportionately affected by stereotypes on who can be in the military, who can have high paying jobs, and we have to put it to an end. Within the first month of me launching my President Campaign, I released a plan on the Gender Pay Gap, Sexual Assault in the Workplace, and Equality in our Military. As President, the women of America will have a home with me. I will ensure that no one is treated unfairly based on their gender, and that everyone has the right to prosperity and freedom. We must end discrimination, we must end the Gender Pay Gap, we must end Sexual Assault in the Workplace, and yes, we must end the attack on Women's Rights. Let's end these downright nasty attacks on the women in America. I am running for President, not because I did "immoral" things with Tom Steyer, but because when I was a little girl my mother told me "Kirsten, I came to this country because here, you can do whatever you want. You can run through the fields outside, you can make friends, you can go to school, and when you grow up, you can do whatever you want in this world." Let's stand together, as Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike and take a stand for what is right in this election, restoring the Soul of our Country, and showing the world that Brave will Win.
