TULSI: A NEW DAWN

Honolulu, Hawaii

We cannot continue to do nothing as our economy crashes. We cannot continue to campaign on sending our troops overseas to die. We cannot continue to fight to overthrow Governments, and cause more harm to other countries. That is not Our America. I served twice in Iraq, and I saw the direct effect of these polices. President Biden, President Trump, President Obama, and President Bush, they did nothing about protecting our brothers and sisters in uniform. I'm running to change that.

I still serve in Army National Guard, and I served alongside my brothers and sisters. I resigned my DNC post, and I endorsed Bernie Sanders because I'm ready to stand against tyranny. I'm ready to stand against the establishment, and stand with my Brothers and Sisters in uniform. That is how we win back this country, and that is how we start investing here at home. Go to tulsi2024.com and help to fund the revolution of success, not intervention.

DEBATE ANSWERS

1. Hi, I'm Representative Tulsi Gabbard, and I'm running for President. Throughout my career, I've helped to end Regime-Change War, and put Americans First. I believe everyday Americans need a Fighter. A Fighter that won't get in bed with Special Interests, but someone that will fight for the People. I am that candidate. Thank you.

2. Well, I believe that the Public Option has been a good accomplishment of the President. Yet, we still see millions of Americans on the street, with no Healthcare, because they can't afford it. I'm not working for the Insurance Companies, or the Big Businesses, I'm working for you. That's why I'm proud to support Medicare for All, and under my Administration we would ensure that every American, no matter their background, has equal access to Healthcare.

3. I don't believe that tearing down our border is the way to go. Although I voted against the Wall, and will not support it, tearing it down would be a waste of money. We've already spent so much on it, thanks to the incompetent leadership in the GOP, it would cost even more to tear it down. I'm in support of a Pathway to Citizenship, and DACA, but tearing it down is not the way to go.

4. I believe that Joe Biden is an okay President. He's not a Progressive, though. He still takes Corporate PAC Money, he still gives Tax Cuts to the Big Companies, and I don't think that is right. Although I commend him on some of his accomplishments, we need a Real Progressive leading this country. We need to pass Medicare for All, establish a Living Wage, and make Higher Education Affordable. That's what I'll do.

6. I believe that tonight we spoke about the issues. We spoke about our ideas for America, and our Vision. My vision is simple: An Affordable America, a Smart America, and a Great America. We can only do that though with Real Progressive Leadership. Don't listen to some on this stage saying that our plan isn't affordable, or it isn't possible. Reconstruction wasn't possible, getting out of the Great Depression wasn't possible, until we put our minds to it, united. That's what we're going to do, but only together, so join me, so we can get some things done.

Personal Question: I do not regret this meeting. I went to Syria out of Peace. We need to end the regime change wars destroying not only our country, but others. The United States getting involved in Syria let to ISIS. The United States getting involved in Afghanistan led to Al Qaeda. When are we going to learn our lesson? As President I'll end this, and cut the B.S.
