Thanks for responding. Well, I think polls are just polls. But, I don't think anyone can deny the fact that Nevada has been very competitive in the last two presidential elections. Bush won the state by ~21,000 votes in 2004. Democrats now have a 50,000 advantage in voter registration. Republicans had a 1% edge in 2004, now Democrats have a ~5-6% edge. That is very dramatic. Of course, this does not account for the fact that we have months to go and turnout will be very important. The hispanic population is overwhelmingly democratic in Nevada and the higher they turnout, the higher chances Obama has of winning the state. There are organizations in the state actively registering Latinos. We'll see what happens.
