It’s definitely weird, but I think 30 is old enough that she’s not obviously being taken advantage of. If she were in her early/mid-20s, it would be a different story, but 30? That’s a whole adult woman who can make her own decisions.

If a woman in her early to mid 20s can join the military, it's ridiculous to think she can't make her own decisions concerning marrying someone of any age. 

I never said it should be illegal, just that the guy would be creepy.
