Oddly enough, Minneapolis has a Green councilor to the Second Ward

Looks like for taking care of the livability of the city, in the opinions of Minneapolis voters having greenery in political offices is a good thing.

The second ward member got replaced by a Socialist Alternative member. Be careful what you wish for!
