Yeah, Buffalo Public Schools were closed today, too.  Freezing out there.

Wait, why would you close schools with -17 wind chill?  The actual temperature this morning was -17 Fahrenheit (-27C), and the power went out for about an hour, but we still didn't have school closed.

I don't know about INks, but there was 2+ feet of  snow in 2 days for a lot of Buffalo suburbs -- a lot of driving bans  in effect, too. So I can see why a lot of the areas closed. But not my college. I trekked out for my 6 PM class.
