Hot take: This debate will be very uneventful in the grand scheme of things and will not change the election.

That's a pretty cold take, honestly. Given what happened in 2016, I think it's safe to say that debates rarely move the needle.
With Biden anything can happen, imagine the storm if he were to collapse on the stage or he has a breakdown.

Tonight, 60 million people will see how old and frail Biden looks . That will make a difference. People don’t watch debate for substance, to get actual insight. They don’t listen to what the candidates say. They go by impression, and the way a candidate looks is often critical. It shouldn’t be this way, but it is.

Enough.  This is how Biden looked in his last on-screen debate.  He certainly looks old, but not one-foot-in-his-grave the way you describe it.  He moves and speaks with precision and confidence.

Imagine running for president, and needing breaks after speaking for just half an hour.

Makes you wonder how he would deal with a major conflict with China or some other country.. I bet Xi, Kim Jong-un or Putin wouldn't be in need of 30 minute breaks...

LOL

I have my television on, and I'm looking forward to the debate! It's going to be strange without an audience, but I'm eager nevertheless. If Biden retains any of how he handled himself against Paul Ryan in 2012, he should be able to blunt Trump's attacks.
Donald Trump is a whole another animal. There is no way he would let Joe treat him like that lmao.

Biden addressed the issues, talked to the American people, stayed calm, and, not only held his ground, but he put Trump on the defensive.

Do you still think Joe Biden has dementia, Trump supporters?
He was repeating obviously scripted lines like a robot.

Trump slapped Biden across the room on his Beau comment, he countered that by tearing Hunter a new on (thrown out of military, cocaine use, corruption)
