Obama got a superdelegate out of the Teamsters endorsement, too.

What is the best site at tallying these almost daily superdelegate changes?

Politico tends to run a day or two behind, but they have the most comprehensive list (and they actually mention each superdelegate by name instead of just providing a number that can't be verified).

Not sure whether Clinton's been endorsed by any Ohio newspapers, but if not, Obama is well on his way to a clean sweep in Ohio as in Texas. The Dayton Daily News has endorsed him.

DNC Mark Mallory (D-OH), Mayor of Cincinnati, endorsed Barack Obama today.  "I have decided to give my endorsement to Barack Obama..."

It was apparently quite dramatic an endorsement, too.

Rep. John Barrow (D-GA) for Obama. Looks as if the endangered Georgia congressmen like the idea of Obama at the top of the ticket.

http://my.barackobama.com/page/community/post/samgrahamfelsen/gGggHZ

The Toledo Blade (which, by the way, is an awesome newspaper name) has endorsed Obama, too.

Also, to clarify the above, Senfronia Thompson is a superdelegate.

Now the question is who that undecided North Dakota superdelegate is. Because Obama's running 7 of 8 there with one undecided.

Rockefeller is someone who I had considered a possible VP choice for either Obama or Clinton. Interesting that he has chosen to endorse Obama (especially as West Virginia is about as Clinton country as they come).

South Carolina DNC Carol Khare Fowler and South Carolina DNC Carol Khare Fowler endorse Obama.

Is this two different people?

Worth noting: If Bill Foster wins the IL-14 special election on Saturday, Obama gains another superdelegate.

When would he get sworn in?

Every special election winner I've seen so far has been sworn in almost immediately.

I remember it being a couple of months for Laura Richardson, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm not sure when the deadline to be a superdelegate is, anyway.

The WSJ is reporting that Senator Amy Klobuchar will be endorsing Obama tomorrow and that the entire North Carolina DEM House Delegation will be endorsing Obama. That adds up to 8 more superdelegates.

Seven. G. K. Butterfield had previously endorsed Obama.

Ha, and he would've gotten nowhere had it not have been for the Clintons. What a wonderful slap in the face! I love it!

He was recommended for the post by the Wyoming governor at the time, Mike Sullivan (D). In cases where a governor of the same party recommends someone, the President just rubberstamps the recommendation.

I expect to see more hedging of bets by fair-weather friends. Few if any will actually abandon Clinton until it doesn't matter, but none of them are, well, politically bold enough to stand against the winner.

Can you expand on that, cause I'm surprised?

Oh, I'm just speculating, but that's the obvious explanation. People don't make 180s from hate to love until there's some outside benefit.

IIRC, none of Indiana's current congressmen have endorsed except for Andre Carson. Obama has the endorsement of three of NC's congressmen; the other four have not endorsed (all had endorsed Edwards originally).

Has the NY Times un-endorsed Hillary Clinton?:

link

As I said before Super Tuesday, the NYT has been trying to have its cake and eat it, too. For months, now.

Rep. Ben Chandler (D-KY) for Obama. Meanwhile, his district votes so strongly for Clinton, it loops back around and votes for Obama instead.

Also, DNC member Richard Machacek (IA) for Obama. That brings the margin down below twenty among superdelegates.

Chandler's district will probably be one of Obama's better ones in Kentucky (which isn't saying a lot)

Yeah, I realized I was confusing it with the areas to its east.
