Never in my life has a political story ever made me so excited.  Say what you want, but this man will be the next governor of the state of New Jersey.  I just want to launch a website so I can start helping his campaign today

Interesting to see who he picks as his Lt. Gov., Kathleen Donovan is the best chance by far.  Christie needs Bergen County if he wants to win

Poll out today by FDU.  Showed Corzine leading Christie by 7%, but with high unknowns this isn't the info to be taken.  Corzine's approval was 5% higher than those who would vote for him, which in New Jersey is awful.  Corzine also leads Lonegan by about 20 and Merkt by about 25 (although Christie not winning the nod is almost impossible)

Primary Prediction:
Christie 75%
Lonegan 20%
Merkt 3%
Others 2%

Good to see a clean man run for office in NJ for a change. Tongue
This is the first competent Republican since 2001, and arguably 2000

Which Republican was competent in 2001?
Schundler was competent, he just wasn't electable.  Franks also ran in that primary

I have a feeling this race will turn into one of those where no one on the forum (spare Conan) is supporting Corzine.  In fact, 99% of people with an IQ above 30 would not if not for blind partisanship

You forgot to mention "jolly beard" in your description of Corzine
Also left out were the words "daredevil" and "temptress"
