I'll nominate Sensei to be the party chair as well, however, I think once we get to having a vice-chair we should pick a more conservative member to maintain balance

good to have you on board.

If anybody wants to nominate anyone else, do so in the next 24 hours. If not, I will assume the chairmanship at that time, then nominations for vice chair shall commence.
Certainly gives us some good balance, maybe we can actually be an effective party.

The Mideast may be backed up, but the Northeast is controlled by the NLC, the SE is too conservative, and the Midwest is a dictatorship

It would be hard for him, he probably could not win the senate seat (assuming myself or Spade is the incumbent senator), and the governor's race has such a weird way of voting its possible but highly unlikely.  The Mideast is probably his best chance.

Well, there seems to be dissent anyway, so I am going to go with what I said originally and nominate MasterJedi as the vice-chair, he brings experience and a more conservative voice to the party.

The Southeast just has such bad candidates that you might be a better option for even the conservative Southrons.
Um, unless Gporter is the only one running, no

I was saying at the regional level DWTL.
Exactly, Xahar really would have no shot in this region.  I can't pin a single voter as being a Xahar voter.

If his only opponent is King of the Bench Press he might have a shot.
You mean our exhalted governor Smiley (anyway your right about that I guess don't see it happening except of course for the last election)

Sensei,
Are we going to hold a vote on MasterJedi as vice-chair or are you withdrawing your nomination?

Meeker first needs to accept or decline the nomination before anything can happen.
This is true

OK, I'll get this going to make sure we do not go dormant.

1.) Meeker must either accept or deny the nomination for vice-chair
-If accepted we move to a vote for vice-chair
-If not accepted MasterJedi is unanimously named vice-chair
2.) We need to vote on the "No Xahar" platform

Aye, although a "No Gporter or Benconstine or Anyone Else Who Has Lost Every Election They Run In" Clause might also be apt

I've been elected Lt. Governor of the Mideast twice.
I'll scrath the last comment and replace it with won a contested election

I beat Inks in my first run.
I'm sure if a revote were held you would lose big time.  Anyway, the motion will not be voted on right now anyway.

Since Meeker hasn't shown for the Vice Chair, I'll throw my hat into the ring for the Vice Chairsmenship.

A.If Meeker shows up and wishes to run, I will drop out and let him run.

B.If Meeker doesn't want to run for the Vice Chairsmenship, I will concider dropping out or continuing to run.

C.If Meeker doesn't come in the 24 hours and MasterJedi has more support than I, I will drop out and back MasterJedi completely.
Well then your chances of being vice-chair seem quite slim

Do you wish to vote on the Xahar plank?

I propose a second plank to complete our platform:

The Atlasian Unity Bloc does not take sides on political matters and its sole purpose is to elect leaders who will be active for the citizens in their roles.

Aye

That should be enough votes to pass.

Anyone else want to bring anything else up?

I'd like to ask for the party's endorsement in my special election, other than that I have no business

DWTL, if we don't support party members what good are we?
I can't tell if that's an endorsement for me or if you are questioning Smiley

Anyway, I understand Sensei's POV, although in Sam Spade is confirmed as AJ it will be interesting to see his new endorsement

Vote for you
Yeah, I figured thanks Smiley  FTR, does the chairman wish to accept or deny Xahar's vote?  I am unsure on how the plank is to be interpreted
