The senate was far from inactive when I was there, we need the old senators back

Nowhere in Section 1 does it say that the sale is illegal, in fact to the contrary it outlines that sale is legal if both the customer and the seller are at least 18 years of age.  The tax section was longer and more complicated in the bill I originally proposed in the senate, however, as the bill comes for a vote without debate or amendments, I decided to uncomplicate it.  Now, its simple, tax on LSD is 30% is sold in a pharmacy, the tax goes to roadway construction however the region deems necessary.  I fail to see why there would be confusion, if there was I hope it is cleared up now.

CultureKing should have stayed with the Federalists anyway, but great vote on his part.  What is the point of this game if the senate does nothing?

I'm sure the Examiner will have something to say (probably not positive) about me being back in the senate Smiley Smiley Smiley

Duke does not seem to be in conflict, the SC ruled that the seat is vacant.  The seat will eventually be filled by a SE, but until then it is a vacant regional seat, something that is to be filled by the governor.  Personally, that is the part I do not understand about the ruling.  If Spade was ineligible to serve, Duke should be able to appoint someone for the full term.

Is the delay associated with the regions due to not acting on Constitutional Amendments or what?

Part of the problem, too, is the lack of competition on the regional level in select places (for varying reasons).  The Northeast hasn't been competitive since Keystone Phil won a Senate race there over a year ago—blame that on a popular incumbent.  The Southeast had a similar problem, though Spade's eccentricities have made the elections more interesting.

The Midwest is a whole other problem.  While it did have a competitive Senate race four months ago (Hughento beat the incumbent, Speed of Sound), the population has since declined to eight (that's half the size of the next least populous region; almost a quarter of the most populous region).  And because of the nature of those involved, the region is incredibly friendly—any race there would be an exercise in virtual incest.
Ah, Phil's election last year Smiley.  Now that was a great time for Atlasia, I am proud to say I cast the deciding vote (well actually any of Phil's votes were).  MAS's support for Phil was surprising to say the least, but excitement.

Currently Southeast tally is 4-4, BaconKing has 4 1st preference to my 3, Gporter's vote flows to me.

Here is how I see it:
At least 1 of SPC and DWTL have to be elected (most likely that would be if only one although I think we can both pull it off)
BaconKing will be elected
At least 1 of Al, Lief, and Xahar will be elected (Al almost a guarantee, Lief likely, and Xahar not likely)
And Franzl has better than 50/50 odds

And of course...
LOL @ Gporter

CultureKing/Alcon win the Pacific

Looks like now not only can Xahar not win elections, his endorsed candidates can't either

The SDP-endorsed candidates' showing was incredibly strong, considering the dominance of the JCP over the region. You see, unlike the RPP, we're not a Southern regionalist party.
We just pulled 40% in the Northeast with a candidate who is not known by half the forum and hated in the other half.  And we stand a great chance at winning with Fmr. Gov. Inks in the Mideast.  We branch out more than any other party, we just don't waste our time in the Pacific because the JCP is doing a great job there

Placing drones everywhere is not good for Atlasia.
We have almost a dozen office holders and almost everyone else has at least run for office.  You can scream "dead voters" all you want it doesn't make it true.  You are the one just randomly signing people up

Running for office does not make someone knowledgeable. Remember RowanBrandon? His statements on the campaign trail were completely inane. Marokai Blue, on the other hand, knows as much about Atlasia as you do.
LOL sitting at home and reading a Wiki does not make one knowledgeable about Atlasia.  Talk to me when you start winning elections at the rate I do

Our candidates not always win, but they don't endorse sockpuppeters.
Neither does our party, in case you didn't notice the first thing we did when we heard of the controversey was call for Constine to step down and remove him of his regional chairmanship.  And your right, your candidates (spare members who came before Xahar) never win

You might want to review the official RPP talking points...I don't think you're supposed to openly admit that the RPP is of the Atlasian Right.
The party is not necessarily of the right, but the candidates are

Did you tell him by aim or whatever to come out of his cave, or do you just keep all RPP members' passwords somewhere? Tongue (He counts as active, btw. He last was active 5 1/2 weeks ago, but he was very active until then.)
To be honest, I did PM a lot of RPP members I could think of to come out and vote, but RowanBrandon was one I forgot

Well PMs are only read by people who're actually accessing the forum anyways.
When someone comes back after a month, you assume he was contacted off-forum (not that that's illegal or anything, but it's somewhere I personally will not go.)
Frankly, I had completely forgotten about him.  But its a vote Smiley
