The senate is dead.  Good thing we elected the most competent PPT Tongue, I didn't think I had enough time for the job, but apparently five minutes is more than enough

If you would have ran....
I most likely would not have won, it was actually your support of Al that convinced me it was an uphill battle not worth fighting Tongue

I am considering contesting the Northeast Senate seat in February.
I've been busy and haven't gotten around to discussing this with you, but it would be a travesty if you did not.

Interesting strategy, it seems like Andrew is making a statement that he can without the support of the RPP.  A calculated risk, will it pay off?

I've never said that I didnt need the support of the RPP. Of three potential VP picks, two of them were RPP members that I thought would be a valuable asset. I like both of these people, but one of them I consider to be one of the brightest and most active people in Atlasia.
Are you calling Duke an idiot Tongue (not that I think you are)

I fully would support your presidency, but remember the reason I supported Bgwah over Moderate was Moderate's choice of Verily.  I think you really had a chance to send a message that you were starting a new Atlasian era and you kind of dropped the ball.  However, of course you will have my second preference and I would obviously vote for you if you were running individually.

My question is that will the RPP split its vote between Andrew and Bgwah? Right now I am slightly leaning towards the later but there is absolutely nothing wrong with the former. From what you have said and what I have gathered both a pretty good on regional rights. Of course there is a chance that someone might run that is a member of the RPP and that would change everything. Has Gov Duke ruled out a run yet, I have heard his name mentioned?
No RPP candidate will be contesting the presidency this go around, although it is more than likely that Duke will be running in the next cycle, something that has been known for quite some time now.  I don't see much RPP split, although I do know a few RPPers who have pledged to Andrew for reasons I can understand

If it was anyone but Afleitch, I'd have no problem. However, because he chose him, I will have to rethink my options.

You've never explained why. I would be intrigued to know Smiley
You badmouthed our party as recently as two days ago and having a ticket made up entirely of a party that includes Hashpipe and HappyWarrior among its ranks is a sickening thought.  Perahps moreso than yourself even is those who you seem to most closely associate with

We endorsed you with the belief that you supported regional rights and you certainly have not fulfilled that.  You also have not once returned the favor and supported an RPP candidate

No, you actually you did'nt to my knowledge you endorsed Moderate Hero benconstine.  Also I supported Jesus and Meeker in the presidential campaign and I'd support certain RPPers such as meeker, Smid, and MasterJedi, also I'm not sure is PiT a RPPer?  I actually like him too.  Sadly you have not run reasonable candidates in elections I could vote in since the last presidential election other than Inks.  That election was a hard choice for me and in the end it came down to party identity.  However I have supported Inks in many of his endeavors since his election
I endorsed you when I won my senate seat

I congratulate Marokai, but this idea of making AG a consolation prize for those that lose senate races is not comforting Tongue

I continue to urge Marokai to move to the Mideast to run against HappyWarrior

In the end it really came down to the arrogance you showed toward assuming you had this job.
I'm sorry that I assumed that giving my party line to you over another qualified candidate, dead0man, was certainly enough for a PPT vote.  I still don't see the problem with arrogance, this is nothing more than a game.  This is like getting mad at WRs who do excessive TD celebrations

Senators Can't Read And/Or Tell Time

In a somewhat embarassing move, Sens. DWTL and SPC failed to notice that the vote for PPT began at 9:30 PST instead of 9:30 EST.  The question still must be begged whether or not the vote will open at 12:30 EST, which is in fact currently 1:30 PM as we are in EDT and PDT

I think we're looking at a tied race here.
Well, I was expecting a 6-4 until BendictJedi came out in favor of HappyWarrior, so barring something unlikely we most likely should see a Meeker tie-breaking vote

I have no loyalty to you at all. I stand for my ideals and the RPP is what's best for that. So that also means I'm not going to tow the RPP line 100% of the time or vote for you if you're being a complete arrogant ass like you were earlier. I already said you had my vote until you got arrogant. Maybe it'll teach you something though I doubt it.
The only lesson learned here is no to trust anyone.  I gave you my full out support, in fact, I asked dead0man to support you despite him wanting to run a campaign of his own.  There was nothing arrogant about what I said, your are basically trying to say that Harry Reid was arrogant to assume that he would become majority leader.

I extended my hand out and you slapped it

HappyWarrior Declares: No Senate Better Than DWTL Senate

In a move further showing he may not grasp exactly what the position of PPT is all about, "anti-DWTL" candidate HappyWarrior defended his decision to back Al in the last PPT election stating:

I feel it was right.  Al may have been ineffective but thats better than being a partisan such as yourself.

Sen. DWTL was asked for comment to which he stated, "It is clear that my opponent is more bent on seeing myself not become PPT than he is on having an effectively run senate."  Two votes remain in the PPT race, one a DWTL lock the other a DWTL leaner.  VP Meeker has stated he will support whichever candidate he feels like do the best job of running the senate, something that is becoming clearer by the minute.

I would have to recommend not writing articles about your own problems. You come off as kinda, sorta ridiculous and only worsen your chances at actually getting the PPT position.
I think its important that people see just how much HW does not understand what the job entails.  The thing that is making so angry about this whole is that we elected a PPT last time with limited commitment and the senate died.  The same thing is repeating itself and no one sees it

DWTL you're problem is that you just see everything as you want to, not as they are.
You seem to have this problem, not myself.  You are the one unwilling to admit your shortcomings.  You are the one running solely to stop someone from winning.  I truly want to be the PPT and win and it is only fair to the people to see that you truly do not grasp what being the PPT entails or that Al did a horrible job at it.  Hell, even Al admitted that he was a bad PPT, yet you refuse to admit that you were wrong to not support me when I pledged to give the time committment that Al could not.  Is one to assume that you would do exactly what Al did as PPT?

BREAKING NEWS

After long debate, the senate has spoken and they have chosen HappyWarrior and two more months of inactivity.  Many are already speculating whether after this failure the senate will finally elect a capable PPT.
