We shall finally end this free trade bills with this perhaps.  I also wish to add my amendment to include North Korea and Iran only.

Section 4 is interesting. Would the proposer be so kind as to explain it's nature and effect in further detail.

Section is really for debate purposes only and can be struck when the list is agreed upon.  I am saying that each senator shall put forth a list of nations they would like to ban from free trade.  Then we will vote on each nation individually as one vote though.

Example:
If the proposed nations to ban were Iran, Israel, France, and North Korea and you thought all were hostile except Iran you would vote

So, these proposed banning of nations would occur after the bill would be passed?

Senator Jas,
I would like your opinion on this.  I intended for it to occur and the list of nations will become the new Sec. 4, however, after passage might work as well.  As an experienced senator whose opinion I value, what do you think?

I think I have found a way for this bill to work.  In the debate, Senators should submit the countries they wish to put on the no-trade list.  After every senator has presented their list, I will submit all the countires as seperate amendments (however, one post) and will can vote on the countries individually.  Hopefully that works for everyone and ends the endless amount of free trade bills.

The list would be impossible to agree on due to the fact that the middle east exists.

Everyone would get to propose countries on the list and vote on them.

We did not vote on the amendments and therefore this bill cannot be voted on for final passage without violating the law (again)

I can see no amendments to this bill present in the debate. You considered adding an amendment but never presented it before the Senate. Therefore there are no amendments or motions to be voted on and we must continue voting.

Nay

BRTD proposed a list of nations he would like included on the list, therefore, this amendment should be voted on.
