I find it odd than down of all people is calling someone else a tad too hackish (skip me)

I still find it odd that people call me a hack.  Hack is a bad word to describe myself.  Let me explain:
If I were a hack I would say, "B/c Candidate X is a Republican, they will obviously win and are amazing."  But no, I don't do that.  I endorsed and felt Sheldon Whitehouse and Harold Ford Jr. would win despite that not being the popular opinion of the Republican party.  Do I push for guys I like to win? Yes  Do I do b/c of party affilation? NO So the term "hack" does not really apply
