The Democrats are not Republicans. You're allowed to dislike and criticize major party figures choices without being ostracized. (Although Democrats and liberals certainly can and do argue with each other.) It's possible to approve of Obama and still think he made major missteps. (Having Trump to compare him with really helps in this regard.)

This is true. However, calling President Obama essentially a mass murderer and war criminal is a different kind of "criticism" that for many people crosses the line.
