Why do I have the feeling his whole Congressional career was just a prank that was meant to be turned into a YouTube video from the start?
If only that were the case. The truth is much simpler, and worse. Santos' old roommate in some article I read was quoted as saying that Santos wanted to fake his way through two congressional terms. Why two terms/four years? B/c once someone has served in Congress for four years, that's when they become eligible for a pension. He's a huckster. It's that simple.
