No charges have been recommended for the cop who shot the lady whose name I’m not gonna say.

Good. They were trespassing and warned. He did his job.

Yup. He deserves a commendation. He likely stopped any more of the monkeys from climbing through that window and literally attacking Congress members.

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2021/02/the-capitol-rioters-arent-like-other-extremists/617895/

Interesting article about who the rioters are. Most of them have no known ties to any sort of extremist groups. A lot are professionals or small business owners, and very few were unemployed at the time, though I'm sure a lot more are now. And the majority were from urban or suburban counties. And based on that, I would assume the majority probably went to college.

AKA anything but the stereotypical racist hick Trump supporter. I honestly wonder what it is about Trump that draws people like this to him. I have never seen this degree of cultish behavior towards any other American politician.

This isn't really surprising at all when you think about the money and time required to travel to the rally, and how few Americans are fine just throwing away that kind of money and who also have the spare vacation time to take off of work to do so. For these reasons, the demographics of the Jan. 6 riots were likely not very representative of your average trumper.

Ron Johnson is making an absolute mockery of this January 6th hearing right now, trotting out the false flag/BLM and antifa provocateurs conspiracy theory that is so popular on the unhinged right. What an incredibly vile piece of human filth he is.

PS: Does anyone know if he can lose his city pension over this? It is my understanding that some government jurisdictions have such conditions.

I'm very interested in finding out the answer to this as well. His union will presumably fight such a move tooth and nail, ironically proving that not even certain blue lives think that blue lives matter.

I knew they would eventually catch the f***er.
A former cop. Wow.
I hope he rots in Hell.
Thank you for posting this update. I was just thinking about this guy, early this morning ... wondering if they had him yet. This is great news.

Whether they lose a pension or not, the prosecution for crimes can frequently require fines and restitution for damages (which I'm sure are massive), not to mention any civil suit that may be brought against him by those harmed.  So, the income stream ain't gonna be his anymore once the legal system is done with him.

Good point. His pension will likely be going straight to his victim after the civil suit.
