My predictions:

WASHINGTON PRESIDENT -
55% (D) Obama
43% (R) McCain


WASHINGTON GOVERNOR -
52% (D) Gregoire
45% (R) Rossi

I think McCain would do at a minimum just as well as Bush did in 2004. McCain is a better fit than Dubya was, not that he'll win it or anything but it'll still be in the "Lean Democrat" category

LOL Sorry but while McCain is better for the republicans of suburbia washington he definately won't be more popular east of the mountains (Bush probably was actually a good fit for Eastern Washington Republicans which basically are the republican party in Washington). Also I can definately make the arguement that Obama is a much, much better fit for Washington than Kerry was in 2004, Washintonians really don't care for east coast elitists which he was one of (we voted for him though because the other option was even worse).
