What is their source? Nothing about that in Russian media.

It is Erin Burnett, a prime-time anchor on CNN. If they are reporting it, they have sources for it.

Russian media is not necessarily going to report everything, for the obvious reason that the Russian government/military is going to want to maintain operational secrecy as much as they can, and also that Russian media presumably doesn't want Russia to look like the aggressor any more than has to be the case.

Multiple civilian airliners are being diverted away from Ukrainian airspace. Seems like Ukrainian airspace is getting shut down or something.

Is he in some security Commitee? Even if not, I'd imagine he'd know a lot of people who are in the loop 24/7.

Rubio is vice chairman of the Senate select intelligence committee. So it is probably from that that he knows. Sad

The MSM seems way behind on this. Still nothing on CNN, which is surprising since Rubio tweeted it. I guess MSM is trying to confirm, so we should keep that in mind probably until we hear it from them also.

This is very strange. There is a lot of info indicating that Putin is basically declaring war in this speech, but at the same time the MSM still has absolutely nothing on it.

So I wonder if it might be some sort of weird information warfare of some sort. At this point I think we should wait for some MSM confirmation.

It is a regime change war. He said in his speech that the goal is demilitarization and "de-nazification" of Ukraine. That is not something you can do by just taking over one local area and leaving the rest of the country alone.
