It is very weird how well he is doing in Iowa compared to other states or compared to nationally.

It is not all that weird.

Iowa is 14.7% Non-White (much of which is non-citizen, and hence non-voting Hispanics working in agriculture/meat packing type jobs).

The USA as a whole is 39.4% Non-White.

And Democratic primary voters are disproportionately non-white.

How stupid are the people of Iowa? (posting in Buttigieg thread only because she is a "Buttigieg supporter" and this isn't worth making a new thread for):

'Twas the weekend before Caucus, when all through the Buttigieg megathread
Not a single poster was posting, not even Tender Bredesen;
The megathread was pinned at the top of the forum with care,
In hopes that some supporters soon would be there;

But alas, nobody posted, for quite a long time;
Sign of a dead campaign, peaking far too soon;
A moribund candidacy, months past its prime;
After the last campaign rally, a deflated balloon.

His supporters don’t post here.

They are middle aged and old people, who have other things to do than post in a Buttigieg thread.

Biden/Klobuchar supporters are likewise older, but threads about them are much more active.

Tells you something. Hmmm.

What’s Pete’s plan going to be when he loses? If Trump gets re-elected he won’t have a cabinet position, if he runs for Congress or a statewide position he’ll look like an opportunist and would probably lose by 20 points again, and if he runs again 2024 and loses his political career is over.

Indiana is a non-starter, so his only chance would be to shamelessly carpetbag. Find some state that he thinks he could win, move there, and run for Senate or maybe Governor. It worked for Hillary Clinton, so it could work for him.
