Very nice pick. Glad to see Andrew doesn't quit Atlasia after all. Smiley

Well, I plan on leaving right after the next President makes his choice for this office. But in the mean time, I'm glad to be able to help. It is a real honor to be appointed to a Cabinet position, and I'm ready for any questions the Senators may have.

I must admit, its weird to be on the other side of the confirmation hearings.

Will you continue to vist the regions like your predecessor was in the process of doing when he vanished?

Yes. I intend to barge into several regional assemblys and offices, confront and herass them to get to work, steal paperwork, and report back to my office. I also plan to not steal as much as I was hoping for out of the federal budget for my own use.

What about the Q/A sessions that were being held for the citizens of two or three regions at a time?

I dont expect to spend too much time in this position. But if confirmed,  I will reach out all regions, seeking their imput, and listening to the questions and concerns and answer them to the best of my ability.

You have broken procedure, Mr. Vice President.

According to the official senate rules Article 6, section 1:

1. Once a motion has been brought to bring the Nominee under consideration to a vote or debate and question time has publicly ended, the PPT shall open a vote on said Nominee. This vote shall last for a maximum of five (5) days during which time the Senators must vote. Any and all Senators who do not vote will be considered to have abstained.

You only kept the vote open for 2 days... hardly enough time to get all the votes.

So the vote is still open until all senators have voted or until the 14th February 2011 at 3:52pm CST (10:52pm your time).

Yes, but it can still be closed, and if needed a nominee for any position can be confirmed if they have a majority of voters.

 Last I remember, that is.
