No way.  At least not if I knew about it.

Also, I wouldn't want a house or apartment where cats once lived.  I always ask about that, and I get down on my knees and smell all the corners and crevices before agreeing to sign a lease.  Cats are the worst, but dead people are nasty as well.

No, and not because I would be afraid its haunted. Thinking about a possible murder taking place in that house or apartment would bug me every day.

But you have contradicted yourself.  One of the most common, and oldest, definitions of "to haunt" is to be persistently and disturbingly present.  You can use the word "bug" if you like, but your description is precisely that your thoughts would haunted daily by the fact that a murder took place.
