Yet again Iowa fails to pick the eventual winner.

Actually, Iowa picked the current president.  And the one before that as well.  The state has a pretty solid record, at least recently, of picking the eventual winner.

And this time it split, so if Obama wins in November because the GOP fails to coalesce around any of these weak candidates, you'd have another example of Iowa picking the president.

I like ties, actually.  Most folks don't, but I do.  Resolution is so...so final.  This way it's more mysterious, like the first half of a John Dickson Carr novel. 

So what happens now, anyway?  State supreme court gets involved or what?

And you have probably never even attended one.

Imagine my frustration, having attended them and still not understanding how the thing works!
