I would ID as independent, though I'm a registered Republican because I want to vote in primaries and I was at one time a conservative (though I was unenrolled back then, ironically). My ideology could generally be called socialist, in particular I would call myself a Heterodox Marxist -with an internationalist leaning (and perhaps even a few communitarian features). There isn't a political party for someone like myself... I don't know what the Socialist Workers Party or whatever they're called are about precisely, though I'd likely join one such fringe party if this were a parliamentary democracy.

It wasn't a fucking essay question.  There's no partial credit.  Multiple choice, man.  Just pick one.

LOL.  No offense meant, none taken.  It was cathartic to finally be able to give someone else a hard time for such an unnecessarily long-winded response.
