Kansas may be trending dem, but losing the state by 10 instead by 20 doesn't change the outcome

No, Kansas is not trending Democratic just because Laura Kelly narrowly won the Governorship and Davids flipped a House Seat that Clinton won in 2016. Laura Kelly will lose in 2022.

KS-03 isn't the only part of the state that's trending left, but go off I guess.

The people framing Kobach's candidacy specifically as the end of the world seem to forget that LaTurner will vote 100% identically to him. I think modern Republicans are Nazis and there are no longer any exceptions (except Amash, I guess).

I hope Kobach wins the nomination, just so I can see how long he lasts before he opens his mouth or turns out to be a pedophile.

Why would knowledge of him being a pedophile have survived in its hidden status from his Gubernatorial run? I doubt it at this point.

Same could be said of Roy Moore's multitudinous statewide runs over the years. It took a national race to expose him for what he was.

I'm not saying that's the case here or (least of all) wishing that it turns out to be so. Just pointing that out.

The field should probably windle down to just Marshall and Kobach. Marshall will win handily. Unlike Colyer, people don’t associate Marshall with Brownback, but they do associate Kobach with Kobach.

The trouble is that the Republican Party nowadays is so tribalistically fascist that Kobach being Kobach is probably all he needs to win the nomination.

Wtf is a “Latinx?” A Spanish speaking dominatrix?

It’s a gender-neutral term for a person or group of people with Latin American ancestry.  Since “Latino” and “Latina” are gendered words, “Latinx” can be used to refer to a mixed-gender group of people, in this case, voters in Kansas.  The term “Hispanic” is often interchangeable with “Latinx”, but “Latinx” is also there as an option, and is also more accurate when referring to people with Brazilian ancestry, for instance, since they are Latinx but not Hispanic(as Brazilians for the most part speak Portuguese, not Spanish).    Cheesy

An admirable effort, but you are in fact trying to explain the concept of cultural sensitivity to a """reformed""" Confederate, so I'm afraid it's moot.

Considering Kobach just barely squeaked by in the primary in 2018, I see no reason to believe he'd win it this time, now that he's humiliated himself.

Trumpists love humiliated failures. Exhibits A and B: Trump and themselves.
