Why are the Democrats being so politically incompetent about the stimulus checks?

The stimulus is a gift, they are still giving Unemployment checks with extra money on it 300 or more extra per week  So, that's why Rs are objecting to the stimulus they say too much money is being out, but they don't account for the people working or on Social Security.

Stimulus checks are unfortunately gonna run out by the time, the Fall comes and that's what happened last yr after Trump passed it last yr too. 1400 let's face it, is not that much, it's one month of pay for most Americans.

Also, the IRS isn't equipped to handle so many refunds at one time that's why the IRS the way they handled the 600 stimulus was just terrible, not everyone got it and they said to just file it on your taxes in February..The most people that got their checks were people that were working

But, nursing home elderly were expecting that stimulus and most of them don't file taxes. The ones that are mobile

Because they don't have the votes to pass minimum wage but Uber pays more than minimum wage, if you aren't making ends meet, most drivers do a Uber job, but single makes whom don't have kids want to keep waiting around for a minimum wage bill and it will happen in 2023 after we net Senate seats. The D's don't have the votes this term. Just like Biden doesn't have the votes to pass Immigration reform without restarting the wall this term



I do Uber eat out all the time, mostly married men do Uber that have to pay for their kids because it's fast cash

Also during Xmas and Halloween, workers get paid OT, called double time, which gives them extra money without raising minimum wage

They already extended Unemployment check, which is included in this bill, 400 extra, D's need to pass UBI, so that no one is left out of the extra stimulus, 2000 isn't enough for part time workers or people on Unemployment benefits, when the 1400 runs out and Covid isn't resolved in the Summer, voters will be hard pressed to need more money, but we don't want to return to bad old days where oil companies get giant tax cuts like Trump and Bush W passed
