As expected, to go after NV& CO, Julian Castro, not Martin Heinrich, which will put 55 Senate GOPers with Martinez successor, in control of senate.

Becerra, probably will like to stay in House and be Speaker designate, in 2022. By, then Pelosi & Hoyer will be out of leadership.

Castro is really smart pick, she is strong in Va or OH anyways, and got Strickland running for Senate, who is more of a progressive anyways. And she made it clear she doesnt support Fast track, Kaine supported. Castro is unifying force.

I think the decision is all but made, Castro will be chosen.

Probably will be presidential material, at some point down the road, if Joseph P Kennedy III isnt a star by 2024, who will likely run if he is elected to senate in 2018.

As long as Rubio isnt on the ticket as the nominee, Clinton will seal the deal with Latin voters either against Carson or Trump. Carson who said he supports Puerto Rico statehood, wont really be an issue. Since the R House wont move on DC statehood, when it passed the Senate. Since DC or Puerto Rico will give Dems more electors. It was blocked in conference.

Puerto Rico, will remain a commonwealth.

Castro is not fluent in Spanish at all. What would he add to ticket beside being brown and young? A lot of  Latinos watch Univison/Telemundo its important to be able to go on those networks and communicate your message. Xavier Becerra hands down is the better choice, there's no question about it. The real question is how Julian Castro is even in consideration?

Most of the Gen X voters are billingual, but only use it at home. He won in an overwhelming Latino state like TX, which isnt in play. But, most Gen X voters, Latino ones in Ca, speak English.

Younger Latinos arent like their parents who are monolithic and want someone that speaks to them only in aspanish. They elected Castro in an overwhelming city like San Antonio. Dems need CO, NV. TRUMKA, UNION head said he wont put full support behind Clinton if she supports Fast Track, Kaine, who speaks Spanish, supports Fast Track.

Castro shows that the only qualified hispanics for the Presidential tickets are GOP, not Dem

You've laid the bait, now will anyone fall for the trap?

I strongly disagree with this statement. It was Trump who fell into the Clinton trap when he talked about mass deportation.  Rubio isnt going to be nominee, only VP. And none of the GOP up there will look good running with Trump

Castro will be VP.

Whoever Clinton picks, it is the GOP who are divided over immigration reform. It is a real chance, Trump, not Rubio will be nominee. Giving Clinton the green light to chose even Julian Castro as her running mate. Given, that Trump has a mass dePortation plan that wont work.

Rubio-Christie is a lot more appealing to independents than Clinton-Castro.

"Rubio-Christie 2016: The American Future"

"Clinton-Castro 2016: Obama Again"

Not if Trump wins and Rubio isnt in lead in polls. If it is Trump, Castro will be selected. She must refute mass deportation.

Huh?

CASTRO is one of many VP candidates mention. But, if Trump is nominated, she will have more liberty to chose Castro, due to his mass deportation plan.
