Because the GOP already nominated MCCain and Romney. But, he is beatable by Clinton or Biden in a GE, because he stumbles and have a Democratic version of amnesty. Since the House is GOP anyways, the proper check will be a Dem prez & Senate, because the GOP party isn't trying to reach a consensus, they want more tax cuts for rich.

And the Democrats want free stuff for the poor.

What's a strawman?



Because Dems uses social programs as a safety net for poor. But the GOP had a tax cut, it gave away, its called the social security tax payroll holiday. It expired, it could of been used as leverage for means testing social security.
