Dems want this senate seat, passing it onto nxt generation. I am happy to see Manchin move on, on his own terms, instead of like Pryor.

His seat is up for grabs anyways in 2018, and the republican wave, in the senate has already started in states like LA and WVA. Dems should start out fresh and get a new candidate and let Manchin go back to Charleston.

He is a blue dog anyways, he was already gov of WVA, and found ways to compromise with the GOP in the state legislature anyways.

Let him run and win and appoint his pal Carte Goodwin as senator.  The dems aren't gonna bail on this race just because they are veto proof powerless, I am for Manchin beating Morrisey for gov.

If he wins, he would just appoint a replacement and have a special election just like he did last time.

Dems arent gonna cede this seat. Anyways, Rauner did precisely the samething in IL. And the legislature still ignores him, but that's doesnt stop Rauner. Let Manchin take his time and decide to run for whatever office he wants.
