Pat Quinn ran on recall reform in 2010, as it turned out, he wasn't the reform agent that the patrons of Illinois was looking for. Madigan, not Quinn was the reform agent that Dems were looking for.

Rauner on the other hand was the G O P's reform choice. And we are looing forward to a different result against Kirk in 2016 with Duckworth and Democratic nominee for gov in 2018,

Madigan being an agent of reform is laughable at best.

Lisa Madigan is the most regarded politican in Illinois after cleaning up the Attny General office that Jim Ryan left corrupt after the License for Bribe Scandle under George Ryan. That's why she was elected in the first place, and Jim Ryan lost his bid for Gov.

As for Bruce Rauner property and tax reform is his number one goal, but the Democratic legislature will supercede anything else he accomplish and he wont be in the spotlight come 2016 senate matchup/Prez race and 2018 Gov, where I expect Madigan and Vallas to take him out.

The Dems may have outfoxed Rauner here. In calling for a Special Election for Comptroller may have underminded one of his decisions as an executor. His first apppointment. And we will have a Dem comptroller come 2016.

What is the purpose of this? At least give the man a chance to set up his own program, he could turn out to be a good Governor.

Rahm Emanuel will raise the minimum wage, but the man came in on polarized terms when he is dead set against the minimum wage and he waged a class warfare on Quinn, we he called his tax increase to fix public education a 67%.

We will never be satisfied with Rauner.

If they can work out a bipartisan compromise and set term limits, along with raising minimum wage, I will be satisfied.
