He will likely be back in Minority at some point. But, there is a pathway for Dems to maintain Majority in 2018. ND & IN are probably gone, but Kelly Marshall can beat Dean Heller in NV. The Dems had a 51/49 majority prior. And still have 50 seats after 2018. So, I vote yeah, he will retire in 2020.

And with Hillary coattails in 2020, add a few more seats.

If Obamacare isnt repealed and Clinton is elected prez, McConnell is likely to retire. He has made defunding planned parenthood in Obamacare repeal, which hurt Ayotte's chance, his signature move this election.


2020 wont be friendly towards GOP, as Tillis, Gardner & Ernst chances arent rosey. As Sullivan, should Begich return, wil be defeated, too.
