Sports is becoming more and more internatiinalized. As Blacks and other ethic minorities are coming overseas. However, ethic minorities still have trouble paying for games. That's why he feels he can get away with comment.
Getting athletes from other countries is where teams are spending their time in, not necessarily in US, but it was a bad comment.
