We cant take anything for granted, but this is a Clinton-Gore firewall state, if we cant beat Cassidy, we wont win control of the senate.

The competition between Nunn or Landrieu is to which of them can cross the 50% threshold to close out the Senate campaign in our favor in addition to winning NC. The undo burden in thus Senate campaign may be incumbancy not a Dem.

He really only had a small chance in this race anyways. Landrieu won in 2002 with a popular GOP prez and in 2008. There goes the senate for thr GOP.

Keystone and immigration would have definitely be best to past before the election in helping out Udall, Landrieu and Begich. Now, that the G O P majority has been installed, there is no incentive for either side to give at this time.
