Strom Thurmond (D-SC): 14 EVs, 0.6%Thanks to the general screwiness caused by the unpledged electors in the south, underperforming as JFK allowed the election to get thrown to the house. What fun! Interesting to think about what stunts LBJ could have pulled to extend his acting presidency by holding up the vote in the House.
As in IRL, plenty of states were decided by razor-thin margins, and I've indicated them with the 40% shade (aside from AR and LA which the unpledged electors ate into and I only won by plurality). Any one of them flipping would have decided the election.
