Baker actually has high approval in minority areas. If he keeps it close there he’s gonna dominate in Southie, W. Roxbury, coastal Dorchester, Back Bay, North End, Charlestown, and possibly Eastie and A-B
>Implying he can

I’m not counting on it so I have the city as likely D. But Boston does have very republican friendly areas unlike Cambridge and Amherst which I have as safe D
If he's coming close in Boston, he's also close in Cambridge and Amherst.

Does anything distinguish Baker from a moderately liberal Democrat?
As someone who lives here, a lot. He's more of a "fiscally conservative, socially liberal" type who Democrats love because he's a moderate and they need a check on the Democratic state legislature, and Trumpists hate for being insufficiently conservative.

LOL at RCP, they still list this as likely Republican. Baker is far more likely to win his election than Abbott in Texas, which they rate as safe Republican.
Don't forget Charlie Cook, who rates this as Likely R but Georgia is Safe R (!)
