McSally is only damaging herself in the general. Not only will she turn off Hispanics, but she'll also lose some GOP support. This race is Likely Democratic, Safe Democratic if Arpaio wins the nomination.

Sinema remains one of the worst Democrats running in a competitive Senate race.
This, and if we could swap Sinema and Rosen for Trauner and Raybould our odds of taking the Senate would go up AND we'd have better senators.

With all these compelling arguments, I am now convinced: Sinema is a stellar candidate and the only Democrat who could ever win Titanium-R Arizona in a red wave year like 2018. Thanks for enlightening me.

Yes her primary opponent would have lost by 8-10 points. It would have been a repeat of 2010 Deleware
Abboud would be doing better, she turns out the base better and could actually define McSally early on rather than run an obnoxious "both sides" campaign.

Arizona finished counting and Sinema just fell short of 50%.

She's at 49.97%

Obviously, that doesn't mean anything electorally.

Unfortunate. That means she and Manchin will remain the only two victors from either party to win with only a plurality. Even Rick Scott managed to get an absolute majority. He was helped, of course, by the lack of a third-party or independent candidate on the ballot in Florida this year.

Well, if there are only two candidates, obviously one would have to have a majority to win.

I know that.

Well people would be justified to question that given your history of uninformed posts.

Oh, another addition to my ignore list! Now that is something...
